Tune Out the Noise. Tune Into the Forest.

September comes with a lot of noise. Calendars are filling up, inboxes are overflowing, and alarms are going off again. But even in the busiest season, there’s still room to slow down, breathe deep, and reconnect with something quieter.

This month, we’re sharing one of our favorite low-effort ways to slow down, recharge, and reconnect (and you can do it right from your computer chair).

Meet tree.fm, a website where you can listen to real recordings of forests from around the world.

When you click “Listen to a Random Forest,” you’ll hear the real soundscape of a natural place. Sometimes it’s wind through the trees, sometimes birdsong, sometimes a gentle brook. There might be buzzing insects or the distant sound of leaves rustling. Each recording includes the name and location of the forest, so you know where in the world you’re (virtually) wandering.

No ads, no login, no flashy graphics. Just trees doing their thing.

Whether you need a calmer workday, background noise for homework, or just a moment of quiet that doesn’t involve screens or to-do lists, tree.fm is a nice place to land.

And of course, if you want to bring a little more calm closer to home, we’re always happy to help you plant a tree of your own.
